Mt. Airy Outdoor Adventures is a new venture created by Ben and Katrina Carpenter – the farming couple behind Mt. Airy Beef.
The Carpenters are planning curated outdoor and off-road tours.
Their customized 4×4 E350 Overland Touring Van will accommodate 6 – 10 passengers for guided tours.
Booking is to begin in late Spring / early Summer 2023.

Wetlands and Longhorn Adventure
See the Carpenter’s 18-acre wetland and farm up-close and personal. Their experience with conservation led them to create the wetland area, now a growing home to wildlife, fish and lush greenery with a navigable strip you’ll travel in the van.
Kayaking and Canoeing
Get closer yet by floating in the wetland and local streams.
Star Gazing and S’mores
Get away from man-made lights and see more stars than you can imagine while enjoying the night sounds with us and a campfire with everyone’s favorite treat.
Grow It In Perry County Adventures
Take a scenic drive to visit local producer partners who grow produce, animals, flowers and more in Perry County.
Upon completion of your tour, we hope you’ll visit and return to the local shops and restaurants in Somerset and throughout Perry County.
