The Mt. Perry Scenic Train, also known as The Zanesville and Western Scenic Railroad, offers passenger train excursions on an exceptionally scenic and historic rail line known as the Glass Rock Spur.
This is a great trip for little ones, especially at holiday time when the Pumpkin Patch and Santa Trains run.
Check the railroad website for scheduled rides and to purchase tickets. The train operates every Saturday and Sunday from the first weekend in August until the last weekend of October plus 2 weekends in December for the Santa Train.
The trains run from noon to 4:00 pm, departing on the hour. Santa Train hours are 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
